Birthday Party for Jesus

I hope many are planning on serving the Lord together as a united body on Christmas Day!!

We will be worshipping Him in a united fashion!

It is a Birthday Party for Jesus!  Jesus said, "Inasmuch as you have done it to the least of these, you have done it unto me."  So, but giving gifts to the least of these, we are blessing the Lord on the day we commemorate His birthday!  We are basically giving Him birthday gifts!

Volunteers are arriving at the Citadel (Johnson Hagood) Stadium from 12 noon - 1 pm and we are serving food at 1pm.  We will be finished (other than cleanup) at 2:30 pm.

We are looking for:

Music Groups/ Singing/ Drama

Shoeboxes (see attachment, but you have until the day of to bring the gifts)

Bicycles  (new or used, but functional)

Coats and Blankets

Warm food-  Either brought to Food Lion on King St. from 12/23- 24 or brought heated up on the day of.

We will be settting up that day from 8am on so we need workers.

Flyer Distribution-  This Saturday at 9am at Hope (633 King St.)

Gift Distribution

Bicycle distribution

Guest services

Drink Service

Food Service

Coat and Blanket distribution
